Shuttle Install:Shopify/Stocky/Faves A Step-by-Step Guide

Overview

Shopify Shuttle installs are now easier than ever with the introduction of our Retail Orbit Shopify App.

To get started, a user with the appropriate Shopify permissions can install the app directly from the Shopify App Store:
https://apps.shopify.com/retailorbit

Once installed, a Retail Orbit profile will be automatically created. Initially, this profile will use a temporary Client Code and Client Name based on the store’s myshopify.com URL prefix.

During setup:

  • If the user already has access to Retail Orbit, they should log in using their existing credentials
  • If not, they can select “Sign Up” and create an account using their preferred email

Allowing Shopify Collaborator Access

Shopify Collaborator Access allows the Management One team to pull supplemental reporting to validate Shuttle data. 

To allow access:

  1. Log into Shopify.
  2. From the Shopify Admin Center, go to Settings > Users and Permissions.
  3. In the Collaborators section, click Generate new code.
  4. In the Generate new collaborator request code dialog, click Generate code to confirm.
  5. Send the collaborator code to support@retailorbit.com along with your store name.

Additional Steps for Stocky App Users

If you use Stocky with your Shopify installation, additional authentication is required to allow Retail Orbit to access receiving, purchase orders, and transfers.

  1. Log into Stocky and click Preferences.
  2. Scroll down to API Access.
  3. Copy the API Key/Auth Token and email it to support@retailorbit.com along with the Shopify authentication information.

If you cannot access the API Key in Stocky:

  1. Go to the Shopify Help Center.
  2. Scroll down and click Contact Support.
  3. Log into your account and select:
    • Store Management > Retail and Shopify POS > Email Us.
  4. Request Shopify Support to activate Stocky API access.
  5. Once activated, return to Stocky and retrieve the API Key/Auth Token.

Additional Steps for Faves App Users

Please let us know if you or the client is a Faves User. We collaborate with Faves and will reach out to Faves to have them send us your data.

Final Steps

Once we receive your notification that the app is installed, any Stocky API key, and Collaborator Access, we will complete the integration and begin reading data for sales, markdowns, and inventory by Product Type.
