The Management One Shuttle uses your Shopify Product Types to map data to your Retail Orbit class structure. This mapping follows a one-to-one or many-to-one relationship:
- One Product Type can map to one Retail Orbit class.
- Multiple Product Types can map to one Retail Orbit class.
Important: You cannot map one Product Type to multiple Retail Orbit classes.
We recommend reviewing your mapping at least once a month to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
How to Check Your Shopify Mapping
- Log into Retail Orbit (www.retailorbit.com) and select your account from the dropdown menu (top left of the Retail Orbit screen).

Hover over the Profile tab and select POS Mapping.
- Click on the icon and choose Download Basic Mapping.
- An Excel document will download.
Identifying and Correcting Unmapped Classifications
- Unmapped classifications will be located at the bottom of the Excel document.
- Unmapped items will be missing:
- M1 class code in Column D
- M1 class name in Column E
To correct this:
- Complete the missing information in the Excel file.
- Save the updated file.
- Email the revised document to support@retailorbit.com, including your business name.
