Your Lightspeed R Series departments are mapped to Retail Orbit classes using the Management One Shuttle. This mapping ensures accurate data flow and reporting in Retail Orbit.

Mapping Structure

  • You can map one Lightspeed department to one Retail Orbit class.

  • You can map multiple departments to a single Retail Orbit class.

  • You cannot map a single department to multiple Retail Orbit classes.

Best Practice: We recommend checking your mappings at least once a month to maintain clean and accurate data.

Steps to Check Your Mapping

1. Log In to Retail Orbit

Go to www.retailorbit.com and log in using your credentials.
At the top left of the screen, select your account from the dropdown menu.

2. Navigate to POS Mapping

  • Hover over the Profile tab in the main menu.

  • Select POS Mapping from the dropdown options.

3. Download Your Mapping File

  • Click the three dot icon in the POS Mapping section

  • Select “Download Basic Mapping.”

An Excel file will download to your computer.

4. Review the Excel Mapping File

Open the Excel document and scroll to the bottom to view unmapped classifications.

🔍 Unmapped classifications will be missing:

  • Column D → M1 Class Code

  • Column E → M1 Class Name

5. Update and Submit

  • Fill in the missing information directly in the Excel file.

  • Save the updated file.

  • Create a support ticket and attach.

Once submitted, our support team will update the mappings, and changes will be reflected during the next Shuttle transmission.
