Heartland Markdowns not Showing In Retail Orbit

SYMPTOM: When looking at Retail Orbit data, your markdowns do not match what you are seeing in Heartland Retail.

CAUSE: By default, Heartland Retail includes permanent markdowns (changes in inventory price) when showing you markdown information, as well as discounts applied when sales are made.

SOLUTION:

1. In Heartland Retail, navigate to Settings > Integrations > Management One.

2. Locate the option "Export with permanent markdowns".

3. Set this option to "Yes".

This will flag permanent markdowns to be sent to Retail Orbit, along with discounts set at the time of sale.
