Overview:
This guide walks you through the process of launching the export tool and properly mapping classes and locations to ensure data flows accurately into Retail Orbit

1. Launch the Export Tool

   • Open the export tool from your system interface. 
     
     

   • Select Mapping in the bottom left corner 
     
     

2. Map M1 Class

   • Locate and ensure that all M1 classes are properly mapped
     
     
     

   • If a class does not exist in the list, create a placeholder class named 999 – Unclassified and map it accordingly.
     
     

3. Map Locations (If Applicable)

   • For businesses with multiple locations, make sure each location is mapped to its corresponding Retail Orbit location.
     
     

   • This ensures accurate reporting and data segmentation.
     
     

4. Save Changes

   • After mapping all required classes and locations, click Save to apply the changes.

Note: Proper mapping ensures that data is accurately reflected in Retail Orbit and helps prevent reporting discrepancies.
