To ensure seamless data transfer between Square and Retail Orbit, follow these steps:
Match Categories to Retail Orbit:

- Align your Square categories with the Management One classification and child classification structure.
- Reassign existing products to the correct categories.
Required Data for Uploads:
- Each upload should include
- Net Sales
- Discounts (Markdowns)
- Inventory at Retail
- Purchase Receiving (Cost & Retail)
- Purchase Orders (Cost & Retail)
Generating Reports in Square:
- Use Sales/Discounts by Category for sales and markdowns.
- Use Inventory Profit Potential by Category for inventory values—sum inventory cost and profit potential to get inventory at retail.

Tracking Purchase Orders:
- Square may not track purchase orders directly. Use the provided Excel template to manage purchase orders and receiving data. Keep this file updated regularly.
