  • View performance metrics across your business

  • Analyze inventory and sales trends

  • Monitor buying opportunities and open-to-buy

  • Access reports that support better merchandising decisions

Retail Orbit acts as your one-stop shop for retail data, reporting, and insights.

Accessing Retail Orbit

Getting started is simple:

  1. Open your web browser

  2. Navigate to www.retailorbit.com

  3. Enter your login credentials

Once logged in, you will land on your Performance Dashboard, where you can begin exploring your data.

Explore with Confidence

Retail Orbit is designed to be easy to navigate and safe to explore.

Feel free to open reports, apply filters, and review different views of your data.

You won’t break anything by exploring. The platform is built so you can interact with reports freely while gaining a deeper understanding of your business performance.

Navigating Retail Orbit

The purple navigation bar on the left side of the screen helps you move throughout the platform.

Start by selecting the Home icon, which will take you to your Performance Dashboard.

Performance Dashboard

The Performance Dashboard provides a high-level view of how your business is performing.

Here you can compare actual performance against both last year and your current plan, giving you immediate insight into how your store is tracking.

Within the Performance Dashboard you will find several sections designed to help you analyze your business.

Monthly Performance

The Monthly Performance section allows you to review key metrics for your business.

You can:

  • View performance for the Current Month or Last Month

  • Filter results by Location, Category, or Class

  • Toggle between viewing data at Retail or Cost

This flexibility allows you to analyze your business at both a high level and in more detailed segments.

Merchandise Insights

Also within the Performance Dashboard is Merchandise Insights, which highlights key opportunities within your inventory.

This section provides insight into:

  • Buying Opportunities

  • Fastest Sell-Through

  • Slowest Sell-Through

You can adjust the display to view the Top 5, 10, 15, or 20 results.

You can also toggle between viewing On Order and Open-to-Buy (OTB) at either Retail or Cost.
