Mistakes happen—and when they do, we’ve made it simple to correct them! If you've discovered a data entry error in your Retail Orbit file, just follow the steps below to make edits and get your reports back on track.
Step-by-Step: Correcting a Data Entry Error
1. Log into Your Retail Orbit Account
2. Select Your Account
From the dropdown menu at the top of the screen, choose the correct account (if more than one is listed).
3. Navigate to Your Data File
Click Data in the purple navigation bar on the far left
Select the month you want to correct
Click Download Excel (top right of the screen)
4. Edit Your File
Make your corrections in the downloaded Excel file
Save your changes
5. Submit a Support Ticket
Go to:
🔗 Create a Support Ticket
In your ticket, let us know:
The month of the data file you're correcting
That you've made changes and are ready for upload
What Happens Next?
Our support team will:
Unfinalize your original data file
Upload your revised file
Your reports will update according to our standard schedule
